Ramsay Health Care Recognised in Global 100 Sustainability List
Ramsay Health Care has been recognised in the 2012 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World.
Ramsay Health Care is one of only six Australian companies and the only Australian-based healthcare company recognised in the Global 100 list. Announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos recently, it is the first time that Ramsay Health Care has been recognised by the industry-leading corporate sustainability index.
Further Stage Opens at Joondalup Health Campus
Health Minister Dr Kim Hames officially opened the new theatre block at Joondalup Health Campus on 8 March - a major milestone in the $393m expansion of the hospital.
The block includes 12 operating theatres – twice as many as before – a nine-bed intensive care unit, a six-bed high dependency unit and a 10-bed coronary care unit. Seven of the 12 theatres are now operational with the remainder opening in September when additional recovery bays become available.
Ramsay's Indonesian Hospitals recognized for Quality
Premier Jatinegara, Ramsay’s hospital in Jakarta, is the first hospital in Jakarta city to receive Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation. JCI is a recognized world leading accrediting body in healthcare quality and patient safety.
The accreditation has been awarded by JCI to Premier Jatinegara for the period December 3, 2011 to December 2, 2014.
Paul Ramsay opens new research facilities at Greenslopes

Ramsay's Clinique de la Muette delivers first French Presidential Baby
France's first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy gave birth to the first French presidential baby on 19 October at Ramsay Santé's Clinique de la Muette. The child, a girl, was born around 7pm French time at La Muette which is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It is first child to be born to a serving French president.

Federal Health & Ageing Minister Nicola Roxon has officially opened a state-of-the-art clinical school at Greenslopes Private Hospital. The clinical school is located within Greenslopes Private Hospital, which is Australia's largest private hospital and owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care.
Ramsay Announced as Finalist in HR Awards
Ramsay Health Care has been announced as one of the five finalists in the Australian Human Resource Awards for the Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy. The award recognises excellence in the area of corporate health and wellbeing. Ramsay will be up against BUPA, Sensis, Clayton Utz and Monash University in this category and the winner will be announced in Sydney on 28 October.

Ramsay Santé finalises acquisition of Clinique Convert
Ramsay Health Care finalised the acquisition of Clinique Convert, a 178 bed hospital located in the Rhone-Alpes region of France, on 31 May. This is the first acquisition by Ramsay’s French subsidiary, Ramsay Santé, since Ramsay acquired 57% of the group early last year.
